On April 22nd, I learned my 5 year old Plott Houd rescue, Fig, has Lymphoma. There's no words to describe the level of grief and fear I have over this. My heart is with anyone who has had to walk this path with their best friend before.
Luckily we have found ourselves in truly loving hands at The Oncology Service here in Richmond, VA. With proper intervention he has a great chance of achieving remission and maintaining his quality of life and energy for years to come. That intervention does not come cheap and it's not guaranteed right now.
And so, I created the Fig Mug to help start covering the costs - with all that he’s brought into my life, I want to share him with everyone and fight for him to stay himself for as long as we can.
